Purpose and Belonging
Over 80 attendees from four regional Councils, the NHS, Police, businesses, professionals and academics joined Big Ideas Collective Associate Professor Roger Steare on 6th October at York St John University’s Dianne Willcocks Lecture Theatre for his talk on leadership, culture and ethics - business as if people really matter.
There to find out more about the push for bettering thinking around sustainable business, Roger’s research is based upon his ethicability ® Moral DNA Test. Supported by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and The TimesOnline, over 40,000 people in 160 countries have so far taken the test that seeks to understand our moral DNA: the way in which we take and make decisions and interestingly how this shifts between ages, sexes and business sectors.
Based on Roger’s research and launched simultaneously on the night by Roger and PwC in London, PwC’s paper ‘Trust: the behavioural challenge’ sees how big business must make the argument for change. Roger wants us to re-set our moral compass creating profitable corporates that care and strong, sustainable businesses for the long-term.
Take the ethicability ® Moral DNA Test to learn more about your moral DNA and read the PwC paper ‘Trust: the behavioural challenge’ available on our home page.
