Originally trained in theatre design at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, I moved into film production and work on projects with Terence Davies, Paul Greengrass and David Puttnam. At ITV I took up the pen full time and was Head of Viewer Services (North) for two years before becoming a freelance writer at wordstofitt.com.

My role within BIG is to help clients communicate their message through high quality, compelling copy; crafting text to explain and inform; creating desire and prompting action across all online, SEO and printed promotions.

Creative communication - fluff or flare?

When you sit down and tell someone your opinion over a pint in the pub you are communicating; just as you are when you complain to a shop assistant, tick a box on a form, answer an online survey or enter a prize draw.  Every minute of the day we are communicating with our body language, the spoken and written word, while being persuaded, informed and often alarmed by others.
